Riaan Herman is a SACNSP registered Natural Scientific Professional and has been involved with projects in 46 countries over the last 26 years.
He is an experienced exploration, underground, open pit geologist and resource/reserve modeller. Riaan has developed skills and extensive knowledge in using Gemcom’s Surpac and Whittle software suites. Riaan is the Managing Director of Riaan Herman Consulting cc; a well respected geological and mine planning consulting company which has been at the forefront of various successful on-site implementations including the development/customisation of various survey, geological modelling, grade control, mine planning and scheduling systems, including Scoping, Feasibility and Bankable Feasibility Studies for companies reporting on the Australian, South African and Canadian stock exchanges.
