Resource Modeling

Our understanding of geostatistics and estimation techniques, together with the vast experience in various geological deposits, allows for the creation of project specific resource model, uniquely created to ensure higher confidence estimation.

The experienced RHC consultants make use of the data provided by the clients to construct innovative 3D geological and resource models for all commodities and deposit types. The 3D models truthfully represent each unique mineralized deposit by determining and defining the deposits geometry, grade variability and ore tonnages.

This invaluable interpolation solution can subsequently be used to develop and achieve strategic objectives and mine planning optimizations. The estimation process includes:

  • Data Management: Obtain the available data to create, standardize and import the data into a database followed by a stringent auditing and verification process to review the extent, quality and validity of the data, as well as ensuring correct procedures are in place for auditable exploration and database management.

  • Onsite assessment: Evaluating exploration sampling procedures including the review of sample results and the Quality control and Quality assurance practices, required by industry standards.

  • Geological Modelling: Structural, lithological, grade interpretations are completed to create 3D geological models

  • Statistical Analysis: Univariate and geostatistical evaluation of the data to determine the most appropriate interpolation methods

  • Resource Estimation: Interpolation of grade using various techniques depending upon the ore boundaries, geological deposit, grade variability, and degree of precision in order to create a 3D block model or grade control model.

  • Resource Classification: Following the development and analysis of the block model, the ore resources are determined based on the geological continuity and confidence. Reporting: In accordance with recognized international standards
